Users review: Revenge is not a new concept in cinema. This is the main question, however, that a back seat to style flowing from the furnace. Account through a cast of stars, the story unfolds slowly but powerfully. Located in rural America today, the film captures the glory of a beautiful country, which apparently disappearing under the weight of war and the economy. The cast performs various characters skillfully establishing trust and giving them a rare level of depth. This makes the atmosphere palpable and possibly makes the human drama element current star of the film. All the actors are excellent and important, but Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson absolutely steal the show. How bad city-in-the-bone script Harrelson is awesome insignificant, his mere presence on the screen prompts concern. In addition, Bale plays a good man, but broken, condemned to see life crumble piece at a time. I caught the director, Scott Cooper, an interview segment Carson Daly. He noted the desire to dive impact and the public in his films. In this regard, I would judge this work to be successful undeniable. During some scenes, I found the second act and the emotions portrayed on the screen, for example, fear, liberation, malaise, tension, in particular, with a sigh of relief tranquility. More drama than action, the tone for the place reminded me of the pine, another well-executed drama with a definite flavor of the crime. Also, I felt that the number of Pearl Jam, which opens and closes the film was a great choice for the desired mood, and deserves special mention. Overall, this film is very well done, despite the lack of glamor and glitter in an action movie. In the drama, I recommend to fans of the genre.
