| Users review: I give this movie 10 stars sold without a prescription in some 1-star reviews, but I think it garners a solid 7 nonetheless. I dont know why people rated it so badly expected, but for me, it was exactly what I expected - enough chuckles to be entertaining, beautiful Christmas scenery and poignant story. 17 and 12-year-old son loved it. I thought Vince Vaughn plays his typical characters, which is always good for a laugh or two, although rarely would you choke yourself. I dont think the film must go to the people, preschool, because it's not Santa Claus, but children old enough to understand those emotions described should enjoy it. There are a few sexual innuendos that may offend viewers which is more conservative, but they will likely go over the heads of young people. Im always amazed at the scope of audits of films found here endb and true, never shows why not all get along. I found this particular film both entertaining and moving, which is all I usually ask, especially in the movie Holiday. While Fred Claus goes beyond the Call of Duty so to speak, it certainly lived up to my expectations. |
