| Users review: Earlier this year, this reviewer saw at age 40 birthday re-release The Wicker Man (1973), in the film. A moment later, I saw the Nicolas Cage remake of The Wicker Man (2006) on the TV. The movie later was less than the original, but the changes did come interesting.So Carrie then that I decided to watch this (2013) remake of the original horror classic Carrie 1976. But imagine my horror when I discovered that the film will be shown on the screen 13. Oh, I do not like someone with a good sense of humour.This a film from MGM. It opens with a very sharp woman gives birth to a baby. The woman is religious, the baby Carrie. Film advances quickly to Carrie in their teens. This teen becomes a woman and so the film begins as a coming of age story. Unfortunately, by Carrie education protected location and is able to manage the changes in your life.The root cause of all these problems properly and transport mother, well played by Julianne Moore. The mother suffered from religious mania and has a firm grasp on reality.Her daughter Carrie, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, so ready for the realities of life. But Carrie begins to learn more about life as well as learning about their own talents. She comes across somewhat shy and rather simple. Miss Moretz is doing well when you try to fill the big shoes of Sissy Spacek played Carrie in the movie 1976. Miss Moretz seems like a very feline. It's beginning to look like an innocent kitten, but as the film develops as it came, as slink around in a cat demure before starting to look a bit like a big cat deadly predator.Portia Doubleday play brave, leader of the school and cliques fancy paper and get this right. Gabriella Wilde and makes the most considerate friend, and Ansel Elgort, playing young Tommy Ross, gives a fine performance required for their delicate role. That said, the other students also play their parts well. The teaching staff is also great, Barry Shabaka Henley, especially in a small role, he gave what seemed like a very realistic performance principal.This school as the new version of the film, recalling the course versió ; n over. In fact, the actress Judy Greer, career portfolio weight accumulated in recent years. In the role of Dr. slut-bunny gave everything. Here again, it was a pleasure to see, although it is more modest, and more realistic.This remake horror appeal to older teens, after all, the UK ranked 15th.
